Rabbi Makes the Rounds of African Heads of State

As part of a tour of African Jewish communities, Rabbi Shlomo Bentolila, the Kinshasha, Congo-based executive director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Central Africa, met with the chief executives of Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Niger. He discussed the state of their countries’ Jewish communities and answered questions about Judaism.

Rabbi Shlomo Bentolila’s first stop in his three-country tour of African Jewish communities was in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, where he was received by President Laurent Gbagbo.
