Wow! What a journey it’s been!

Well over a year ago, we began exploring the inner workings of another Hebrew word each week. We’ve dug deep into the texts and uncovered the most wonderful truths. Once we’d gone through an entire journey of 50 words, we went on to discover the layers of meaning behind each of the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet.

And now that we’ve explored the letters, are we done?

The good news is that there is still more to learn!

Building on the momentum we’ve gained and the amazing feedback you have shared, we’re going to continue this journey with a deep dive into Yiddish words that have entered the English vernacular. Each entry will be educational, humorous, and edifying—just like the Yiddish language itself.

So what do you need to do to continue this journey?

If you want to learn about Yiddish words and what they teach us about us and our world, do nothing at all. You’re already signed up and good to go.

Looking forward to unpacking some Yiddish words with you!
